Step-by-Step Construction Process:

1. Establishing the Foundation: Drive 100mm x 100mm fence spikes into the ground at the corners of your retreat area. Install 3m, 100mm x 100mm fence posts into the spikes as sturdy uprights. Add additional posts for larger spans.
2. Creating the Flooring: Use old scaffold boards bolted to the upright fence posts with joists to create a level surface. This forms the foundation for adding floor boards and deck boards, providing a comfortable space for your activities.
3. Constructing the Roof: Mark and add scaffold boards above head height as roof support. Use 2x4 planed timber as rafters, securing them to the upright fence posts with M10 coach bolts.
